Please. I asked please nicely. This darn printer screwed up the password, not me. I copy-pasted bro, its the right password.
I think the printer must strip certain characters when you submit it, I used my silly password generator that has very aggressive settings. Too bad it doesnt tell us which characters are problematic. Also too bad the user manual doesn't have the reset instructions like every other printer out there. Also too bad someone has not replied yet. This is a brand new machine and I need the admin password please!

Thanks HevnLgh, it did the trick.
After experimenting I think it seems that it is not due to the type of characters, but likely just the number of characters that is the problem. I would imagine the system is truncating them before storing, but the login prompt does not?
