Missing printhead or print head not found

My 8610 suddenly displayed this on my printer this morning without anything done to it from last time used to receiving this message.

If you still have the error msg. check your warranty.

I did what you suggested at least 5 times to no resolution. The error message remains.

My printer was bought in 2015 so out of Warranty.

I also contacted Staples who I purchased if from and they are unable to locate a replacement Print Head (should it come to that) and advised that it may be replaced with a HP950 head. Can you advise on this?

Note that the error on the display is "Oxc19a0040"

It is not cost effective to replace the printhead, just replace the 8610.

Which similar but updated and recent HP model do you recommend as the best replacement at this time?
