@Awright2001, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One printer has no display on the screen, you can follow these steps to try to resolve the issue:

Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure the power cord is connected securely to both the printer and a working wall outlet.
  • Use the power cord and adapter that came with your printer.

Power Strip and Surge Protector:

  • If you are using a power strip or surge protector, consider plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet to eliminate these as potential causes of the problem.

Check for Software and Firmware Updates:

  • If there is access to another device, visit HP’s website to check for software or firmware updates that might address display issues.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.

If after trying these steps the screen still does not display anything, it may indicate a hardware issue. It could be a problem with the control panel itself that might require service or replacement.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
