MY HP Envy 5530 Printer does not offer any printing option for 5.5 x 8.5 paper, that's too simple, I could print easily from that, HP has 2 dozen options for Paper sizes, japanese envelopes and other crazy options, no one uses, but no daily planner sized pages, so how do you print to this sized paper.

Hello Bob, finally success, I had previously downloaded and installed the scan and print dr. it updated my printer and said it was fully updated, but I still went to the HP Drivers page and downloaded the All in one Driver set and then installed it, I did not remove or delete the old printer, I clicked on the exe. file once it downloaded and followed the install directions, and went to print and I've tried several text programs and in the paper qaulity paper size screen when I click on advanced, all have list all 4 of the new form sizes I created, all 4 were 5.5 x 8.5 I just gave them different names, it still does not show the Statement size or any of the long list of other sizes that I saw in the create new form screen, but that does not matter now.

Thanks for all your help, and if this ever comes up again, have them give this a try.

Take care!

The 5.5"x8.5" paper size is typically listed in the driver as "Statement" size.

Hello Bob, I have been searching for help in Printing on 5.5 x 8.5 paper everywhere, I've tried everything, nothing has worked, I have an HP envy 5530 and I just checked this Statement size and it's not listed in my paper sizes when I went to print and options then advanced options, I've aleasy had HP Printers, I finally updated to this one after many years of an HP 7760 which was an awesome printer, I can't say for sure, but I don't remember ever seeing Statement sized paper on it, any other ideas or anything, I really need to print on this sized paper.

OK, it will take me about an hour to download the driver and try it out.  There are a few possibilities for a workaround, I will post a bit later this morning.

OK, I do not have an actual Envy 5530 to test but I did download and install the driver and get it to recognize 5.5x8.5 inch paper.  In Windows 10 do the following: go to the Control Panel, Devices and Printers.  Click once on the Envy 5530.  This will bring up some new commands at the top of the page, including "Print server properties".   Click on Print server properties.

When you click on the Print server properties it will bring up a box that will allow you to change forms.  Click the Forms tab at the top if it is not already selected, then click Change Form Settings at the bottom of the page.

This will open a new dialog box that looks a lot like the previous one.  Select the "Create a new form" box, type in a new name like 5.5x8.5in, make sure the dimensions are set to English, set the desired paper width and height, then Save Form.

The form will now appear in the list, click the Close button at the bottom.  Next double click on the HP Envy 5530, double click on Set Preferences, Paper/Quality, Advanced, Paper Size, select the new 5.5x8.5in paper size form you saved earlier, OK, Apply, OK.

All done!  Try out your new form size in your favorite program.  Have fun printing the invitations and please click the "thumbs up" and "Accept as solution" buttons when you have verified things work.  This will help others with similar issues find the solution.

Thanks for all your help, I went to the Create form screen, created and saved form in the 5.5x8.5 size, then set pref and advanced options and checked the list it was not there, also in the create form screen, at the top where the different page sizes are, Statement size is there, but when I try to print a paper, then choose size, I don't see Statement in that list with the others, also my new form 5.5 x 8.5 is not there,  not sure what I'm doing wrong, or why statemen can't be seen when i choose a size, but i can see it when i go to the create form screen.

I went back to the create a new form screen, and the new forms I made and saved are still there, also the statement size and other sizes are there, that I don't see when I try to print.

I click print on any form or sheet or whatever I've typed up, then Print screen comes up, I clicked on advanced button, it takes me to the screen to choose page size, letter is the one that is already chosen, I hit the drop downmenu and see all the page sizes and none of my saved forms are there and neither is Statemen and also neither are several of the other forms I see when at the create a new form screen.

Any idea why I can see my newly created forms when I go back to the creat a new form screen, along with statemen and other forms, but can't see those when I try to print, I see an entire list of page sizes, from Japanese envelopes to more than a dozen or 2 dozen other sizes, this is so frutstrating it seems like if I can see Stament there, it should show up when I choose a size to print, what could be wrong here.

HP Recommended

I can see 32 paper sizes when I go to print and choose a size, on the create a new form screen, I can see 124 from the drop down menu, why don't all of the sizes show up in my choice to print screen.

I hope we can get this worked out.
