Hi,
I obtain this error code every time the printer tries to connect to the wireless - about 15-20 seconds after it starts scanning.
Otherwise, printer works just fine without the wireless connection.
It started since I changed the router, even if the new router has the same Network name and the same password (all the other wireless devices at home connected immediately to the new router.
Any suggestion on what should I do?

Hi @DoruA,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I saw your post that you are getting the error code 0XB808F342 with your HP Deskjet 3515 printer. I am happy to help!
To confirm the scanner's hardware is functional, are you able to make a copy with the printer's scanner glass?
In the meantime, please try a hard reset, by following the steps in this post, How to perform a Hard Reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the printer's power cable is plugged directly into the wall outlet, and not a surge protector.
If you are able to reach some resolution, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
Hope this post helps! 🙂

Hi @RnRMusicMan,
Thanks for the reply.
I approeciate the help, unfortunately it did not help...
I can confirm the scanner is functional, I made a copy.
I performed a hard reset as mentioned in the link from you. I made sure of the direct socket connection and also on unplugging the power module from the power cord.
It did not help.
I reinsatlled the printer software on the computer. I end up with the same result.
I successfully connected the printer to the computer via USB. I even printed a piece of paper to make sure it works. As long as I make surte the printer wireless connection is off (through the settings), then everything works fine.
However, when I try to transform the USB cable connection into a wifi (network) connection), then the wireless of the printer is turned on, it tries to connect with the router and it fails, with the same error code 0XB808F342.
Any other ideas on potential further steps?
Many thanks in advance,
Doru

Hi DoruA,
Thank you for your reply!
Let's try the steps within this guide, Network Scanner Connection is Lost (Windows). I would also make sure the printer's firmware is up-to-date. Getting Printer Updates.
If this helps, please consider clicking on 'accept as solution.' And, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
Hope this will resolve the issue! 🙂

Hi RnRMusicMan,
thanks for the tips.
I tried all the aspects related to the Network Scanner Connection is Lost (Windows).
I also got the printer firmware up-to-date (which it wasn't).
Did not help, I encounter the same error.
What else should I try?
Thanks,
DoruA

Hi RnRMusicMan,
In the mentime I found out that I need to check my router.
In order to understand whether is a printer or router issue, I used another wifi connection and I successfully connected the printer to the network.
Best regards,
Doru
