HP LaserJet M110we Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Laserjet M110we has error (!) and 'ready' lights flashing and cannot print from Acer Win11 desktop.  Have deleted the printer and re-added it via HP Smart, which cleared 'offline' error but still cannot print.  Cartridge has been replaced with new HP replacement and no print jam.  All attempts to fix via HP diagnostics have failed.  This is over a wireless connection with good service.  Anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks!

Chris

Hi @Chris_S4

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP LaserJet M110we printer is displaying flashing error lights and is unable to print, even after trying the steps you've mentioned, here are some additional troubleshooting actions you can take:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and there are no paper jams or other obstructions.
  • Verify that all trays and access doors are properly closed.

Network Connectivity:

  • Verify that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You can print a network configuration page from the printer to check the connection status.
  • Reboot the router and try reconnecting the printer to the network.

Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Download them from the HP Support Website specifically for your printer model and Windows 11.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, your computer, and your wireless router to reset the network settings and connections.

HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart App and perform a diagnostic from there. Check for any firmware updates for the printer in the app.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Try performing a factory reset on your printer. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset, which can sometimes resolve persistent issues.

Alternative Connection:

  • Temporarily connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable to see if the issue might be related to wireless connectivity.

Error Code Check:

  • Look up the meaning of the specific flashing lights sequence in the printer’s manual or on the HP support website, which can help identify the issue.

These steps can often help resolve connectivity and printing issues by ensuring hardware, network, and software are all correctly configured.
