My printer automatically starts a printer alignment procedure whenever I replace a new cartridge, This waste ALOT of ink, How do i stop this absolutely stupid feature??  Somebody please help.  It looks like it is a scam to make people waste their inks so that they keep buying more ink cartridge.  I used to use Canon printer before and did not have this issue.  Wish I had stuck with Canon printer as I had the option for printer alignment.

Somebody please help me and let me know how to remove this highly scammed feature of automatic alignment.

As soon as you perform a successful alignment the message will go away. The alignmnet only uses 0.03% of ink. Nothing really.

maybe I did not make myself clear.  I DO NOT want to be forced to perform the alignment test.  I want to have the OPTION to allow me to do the alignment test only if I CHOOSE to.

My question is - do I have a choice?  Or is the printer desgined such that I MUST do the alignment test everytime I change the cartridge?

Printing should be made easy, efficient and fast.......adding this "No choice" feature is highly annoying and unacceptable. No wonder HP is making a loss.... I will definitely switch back to Canon.

I agree this is a completely stupid feature (so called) for the hp printers !
