@KevinJordan56, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your HP Envy 6120e printer! Let’s try to troubleshoot this together and figure out what might be causing the issue. Here are some steps to help resolve your printing problem:

Check Printer Status:

Make sure the printer is turned on and has no error lights or messages on the display (if it has one).

Check if there’s any paper jam or if the printer is out of paper or ink.

Verify USB Connection:

Double-check that the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and your computer.

Try using a different USB port on your computer.

If possible, test the USB cable with another device to ensure it’s working properly.

Check Printer in Windows Settings:

Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.

Make sure your HP Envy 6120e is listed. If not, try clicking on Add a Printer or Scanner to add it manually.

If the printer is listed but marked as "offline" or “paused,” right-click on it and select See what's printing. Ensure it’s set to "Use Printer Online."

Set Printer as Default:

If you have multiple printers installed, you might be accidentally sending print jobs to the wrong one. Right-click on your HP Envy 6120e printer in Printers & Scanners and select Set as Default Printer.

Check Print Queue:

If there’s a stuck print job in the queue, it might block new jobs from printing. Open the print queue and cancel any pending jobs:

Right-click on the printer in Printers & Scanners > See what's printing.

Cancel any stuck print jobs.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer installed.

Go to Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu) and find your printer under Printers.

Right-click on it and select Update driver.

Alternatively, go to the HP support website and download the latest driver for the HP Envy 6120e.

Restart Printer Spooler Service:

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Find Print Spooler in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.

This can often fix issues with the print queue.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
