@Point_Pleasant, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Rendering Problems While Printing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you encounter a "Unable to print - rendering error" dialog box when attempting to print a document, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer model. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your specific printer model.

Update Software:

  • Make sure that the software you are using to print (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, etc.) is up to date. Software updates often include fixes for common issues, including rendering errors.

Check Document Compatibility:

  • Ensure the document you are attempting to print is not corrupted by trying to print a different document. If the other document prints successfully, the issue may be with the original document.

Change Print Settings:

  • Try changing the print settings. For example, you can change the "Color Management" settings or adjust the "Print Quality" to see if that resolves the rendering error.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Sometimes, clearing the print queue can help resolve rendering issues. Go to the printer settings on your computer, find your printer, and clear the print queue.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your computer and printer. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear up temporary issues causing rendering errors.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
