I am getting this type of repetitive mark on my paper from all copying, printing or scanning.  Can anyone tell me what this is and maybe how to fix it?  Thanks, Dave

Clarify one thing please. Do you get this mark if you scan a document to your PC and view it on the screen? Or is it only when you print it either by copying or printing from a file?

If only on printing:

Bad cartridge or bad fuser. Remove all cartridges and check the blue/green drums for debris or a matching defect on the drum itself. The fuser is a little more difficult to check as to see clearly you need to disassemble the printer.

It only happens when I use the printer.  I can view a pdf on my computer and it is fine.  I see the marks whenever I use my printer no matter if I'm  copying or printing.  I suspect the black toner cartridge which was not an HP cartridge.  I have ordered an HP cartridge and I'm hoping that will clear this problem.
