HP Envy 5532

I replaced both the color and black cartridges with remanufactured cartridges.(Envy 5532) I received an error message that the color cartridge  still needs replacing.  Assuming there was an issue with the remanufactured cartridge, I purchased a new cartridge package and installed the color cartridge. I have tried resetting the printer and updating firmware. Unfortunately neither corrected the issue. Does anyone have advice for this problem?

Hi @Jerzgirl08

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to an ink cartridge error. I'd be happy to assist you.

HP does not recommend using non-HP or refilled ink cartridges. It may or may not work. HP cannot guarantee the functionality of third-party ink cartridges.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

This printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode. Remove the color ink cartridge and try printing in black and check if that helps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
