Hi @Mohnebus,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Deskjet 2652 is showing a flashing orange light with an envelope symbol and won’t print after replacing the ink, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Step 1: Check Ink Installation
- Remove and Reinstall Cartridges:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the cartridge access door and carefully remove the color cartridge.
- Check for any protective tape or packaging that may not have been removed.
- Reinstall the cartridge securely.
Step 2: Check Ink Levels
- Verify Ink Levels: Make sure the new cartridges are not empty. If they are, try replacing them again.
Step 3: Run Printer Diagnostics
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Print a Test Page:
- Try printing a test page to see if the error clears.
Step 4: Clear Print Queue
- Open the Print Queue: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select Your Printer: Click on the Deskjet 2652 and choose Open Queue.
- Cancel Any Stuck Jobs: Remove any jobs that might be causing issues.
Step 5: Check for Paper Jams
- Inspect the Printer: Look for any paper jams or obstructions in the printer that may be causing it to malfunction.
Step 6: Reset Printer
- Factory Reset (if necessary): If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset. Refer to the printer manual for instructions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
