They pushed through an update that has caused many of us to have $500+ printers crash and are offering no help. We need help and HP clearly is not interested. In fact, they just offer a button you can push to order a new one. This is a big legal issue for them if we just stand together. Sad the way they are treating their customers.

I’m in. They won’t even acknowledge that they have a problem. I’ve been given the run around for a week now. Try this, try that. Once a day I get a message with another pointless attempt at a fix. Corrupt way of creating demand for new printers.

Hi,
The message “Resend Upgrade” or the flashing LED lights indicates that the firmware upgrade did not completed and failed due to unknown reasons. One of the reasons might be that the firmware file that you are using might be corrupt.
All you need to do is reboot the printer and reflash a fresh copy of the firmware. Download a new copy of the firmware using the link below and reflash the firmware.

I just now got back from fixing one of these printers.
The update seemed to be interrupted by the network somehow.
All I did was put the Firmware from the latest update onto a flash drive.
Put the flash drive into the printer.
Restarted printer.
The printer seems to pull whatever is on the USB drive without any other input.
I tried using the app, Updating it using the EWS, Contacting HP, Looking on other threads. This seems to be the correct solution.
