Same thing here. I just spent over 2 hours with technical support. He finally was able to clear the "resend update" error and now the printer is unable to print or copy without jamming. In the 18 months or so that I have owned this printer, I have never once had a paper jam. The support technician was unable to resolve this after an hour of trying. So I am left with an expensive printer that cannot function and because my warranty is up, I am told I am basically SOL. This is not ok and a laser jet printer should last longer than 2 years!

JillG4 - I know crazy right? Fix the "resend update" and now the printer jams on the output? I can't believe that this happened to both of us!! I don't believe this is a coincidence. It had been a long morning on the phone with HP Tech so when the jam happened after fixing the "resend upgrade" error, they had me clean the rollers, take out the paper, the toners and try again. Still jamming - now they are having me leave the printer unplugged for 2 hours and they are going to call me back to see if it's resolved......to be continued.

It is not just you and him, it's everybody, we need to do something in a group maybe call a law group to get to vp's from HP or get this to media, printer it's out of warranty and an automatic update messed up the proper functions then they are responsible but they wash their hands saying out of warranty, is this a ransom attack?
