Hello,
I have an HP Envy 4500 originally purchased in Europe and intended for use with HP 301 cartridges. I would now like to reset the printer for use in the U.S. with HP 61 cartridges. Reset instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I did see that guide and was creating this thread to follow the guide's advice of "contacting HP support for help with resetting regionalization." Do you recommend a different form of contact? The virtual assistant did not help. My printer is past its warranty so I'm not sure if I can access optimal phone support. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you for your reply!

@L4h7, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Have a great day!
