DeskJet 2632 Printer

Hello,

I forgot the administrator password for the Embedded Web Server (EWS) on my HP printer and I cannot log in and change the settings of the printer without knowing the password or doing a full factory reset. The printer is a DeskJet 2632.

How can I reset the administrator password or do a full factory reset of my printer?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you want to reset EWS password.

Restore network settings to default settings to reset the password

Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Let me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

I tried these steps on my printer and I still cannot log in to my printer's EWS (advanced settings) on the browser after connecting to the "HP Setup" WiFi name and entering the IP address for the EWS page. Any other ways to completely remove or reset the printer's EWS administrator password?

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Cheers.
