Hi,
my topic is already addressed in another post on this site (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Reset-EWS-passwort-on-Laser-107w/m-p/7455690#M387163)
An excerpt fyc
"I bought the HP Laser 107w printer. I setup this printer but unfortunately forgot EWS Password.
Today I called the support ... and they answer me that to solve this problem they need to substitute the printer.
I don't belive that! How is it possible that there is no other solution for sw problem?
This is a wonderful printer, I don't want to change it"
I am suffering the same problem and need a way to reset the EWS password. Unfortunately I find myself unable to add to the original thread so I start a new one.
As I understand from the post mentioned above, instructions are available as a private message, which I would kindly ask for.
Let me add that I consider it a bit of a shame that no publicly documented procedure exists by which to do a factory reset of the (otherwise very appealing) HP 107w device. I would've thaught that this is a fundamental (if not the most fundamental) requirement towards any complex electronical device.

@ststefa, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you would like to reset the printer to its factory settings to unlock the EWS page. However, that is not possible on this model printer as it does not have a touch screen.
If you check the other thread that you have attached, I have referred the user to HP Phone Support. The HP technician was correct, this printer has to be serviced.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Kumar,
thanks for the confirmation. I will have the printer replaced.
Is there a way to send a feedback to the engineering department of your company? It makes me kind of sad to see a mature printer company like HP design products with such massive engineering flaws. The printer has three buttons which is more than enough to build in a factory reset procedure. From an end-user perspective, a reset is one of the most basic requirements, especially for rather complex devices with Wifi setup procedures. I would like to make your engineers aware of that as it seems they overlooked it.
I will take that as a general reminder to myself that these days one cannot just buy a product from a big name company and rely on certain maturity in its design.
As far as I am concerned, the case is otherwise "solved".
