The printer was fine a couple of days ago. I have confirmed power to the printer and can see the internal green light on the transformer. There is nothing on the control panel to indicate the printer is working. Printer does not switch on at all. My PC confirms this printer is the default printer. How can I "wake up" my printer. Welcome to HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
If the printer power on, update the printer firmware
