Hi @sparkyinpc,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the "INTERNAL ERROR - Including Corrupted Data POSITION" error on your Samsung SCX-4623F printer typically indicates an issue with the printer's firmware or a problem with the data being sent from your computer.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Restart the Printer and Computer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your computer.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
2. Check the Printer Connections
- Ensure that all cables (USB, power) are securely connected.
- If using a USB connection, try a different USB port or cable.
3. Update or Reinstall Drivers
- Visit the Samsung support website to download the latest drivers for the SCX-4623F.
- Uninstall the existing printer drivers from your computer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners on Windows.
- Select the Samsung printer and click Remove device.
- Install the new drivers you downloaded.
4. Check for Firmware Updates Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on the Samsung website.
- If available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.
5. Print from Another Application
- Try printing from a different application to see if the issue persists.
- Sometimes specific documents or applications can cause data corruption.
6. Reset the Printer
- Access the printer's menu:
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Reset > Reset All.
- Confirm the reset and try printing again.
7. Run a Printer Self-Test
- Run a self-test to check if the printer hardware is functioning properly:
- Press Menu, go to Printer Settings, and select Print Test Page.
8. Check for Print Queue Issues
- Ensure there are no stuck print jobs in the queue:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click Open queue. Cancel any stuck jobs.
9. Check for Paper Jams or Toner Issues
- Inspect the printer for paper jams or low toner levels.
- Replace the toner cartridge if necessary.
