Hi folks! I can print test pages beautifully, I can scan documents and have them come out looking like an exact copy, and I can use the actual copy feature with no problems. But when I try to print out a document I've created, or a website I'm viewing, it prints blurry! Odd thing is, the 'date' and the 'title' on the printout are CLEAR! It is just the actual content of the page (a Google Doc I created, a website with my son's schedule, etc.) that prints looking like you've crossed your eyes.
I'm out of ideas and I can't spend another hour trying to do this fix to no avail. Help! Thank you!

As the printer is printing the test page properly, this could an issue with the printer driver.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check the driver.
Download a special version of HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
-
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
-
If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on and then click Retry.
-
If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
-
If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.
-
If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.
-
Try to print.
If the issue persists, delete the printer driver and try printing using the Windows Built-in Print Driver.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

Try printing from a different Browser or Application and check if you are facing the same issue.
If the issue persists, I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:
Remove the USB if connected
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-f4400-all-in-one-printer-series/3742084/... and download the Full Feature Software and Driver.
Try to print.
Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-deskjet-f4400-all-in-one-printer-series/3742084/model/374208...
Restart the printer.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Hi Raj, and thank you for your response!
I tried using Explorer instead of Chrome, but still had the problem.
I deleted the printer as you stated and reinstalled the fancy new version but I still have the same problem 😞
When it prints a 'test page', all is well!
When I ask it to print PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE, I get blurry still.
Going to attach two photos-- one is a close up for you to see better.
I'm ready to junk the machine, but it copies clearly and scans, as well! Seriously, this is an odd one....
