I want to avoid the ink in my 8710 from drying up.

Is there anyway I can schedule the "Print Quality Diagnostic Page" to run weekly?

Welcome to HP support community.

You do not have the option to schedule printing quality report.

However, the printer automatically runs maintenance on itself to avoid cartridge drying up.

If you feel the printer maintenance is not done for a long time, you can manually clean the printhead.

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon  .

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

    A test page prints.
