I have a new HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.
Often, but not very time I use it, I get this warning:

@AzureMedia, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If the printer is connected to a secure network, only the device on that network can access the printer. I do not think that there is a security threat here.
Let us try these steps:
- Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the MAC
- Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
- The wireless status menu on your Mac should also give us quite a lot of information that would help us identify the issue. You can press and hold the option key on your keyboard and click the WiFi icon to get detailed information.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on MAC
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Monitor the printer. If the error persists, we will try to assign a static IP address to the printer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I am not technical enough to know how to do what you suggest very well.
Regarding this suggestion:
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
I have comcast gateway XB6 and it's set up with both 2.4 and 5 with the same network name. Does that mean it's also set up with the same SSID?. I have always had two HP printers with this set up, and never had this problem before until now with this new replacement printer. If I hit "continue" it will go ahead and print and it only happens about once per week, which leads me to believe something is changing every once in a while.
I tried:
- The wireless status menu on your Mac should also give us quite a lot of information that would help us identify the issue. You can press and hold the option key on your keyboard and click the WiFi icon to get detailed information.
I'm not sure what it meant. I took screen shots of what it said. I'm not sure if I did this correctly or what i.m looking for.
I have not tried to update firmware yet. I have no idea what that actually means.
I don't think I can go further without someone on the phone with me.

I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
