Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I looked at the Manual for the OJ 4620 but did not see anything about Self Cleaning.  I'm just curious in general how to know which printers Self Clean?  I know my Brother J480DW does, but my older HP AIO C4750 does not.

If not, I wonder if I can print remotely so that I can keep the Ink from drying out during the summer when we are up north?

Thanks, pc

Hi,

For HP printers, any printer with 4 different ink cartridges (Black, Magenta, Cyan & Yellow) such as the OJ 4620 will perform self-cleaning.

Printers with 2 ink cartridges (Black & Tri-Color) such as the C4750 will not perform such.

If the printer is connected to the wireless network, You may perform remotely from time to time by enabling HP ePrint for the printer and then email the printer from time to time and print:

Thank you very much for that answer ShlomiL, but where do you see this information.  That Link you provided does not seem to link me to any documentation for this?  I've scrowered the Manual and nothing?
