When Service Error 79, or  49 appear on my printer screen the printer cycles over and over. I've tried/and had others try to fix it, but to no avail.

 

Can anyone point me in the direction of fixing these two recurring errors?

I'd like to help!

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

I have the same issue. It just started this morning. I see you PM'd the person above. Wondering if you can send me same info.

My printer reboots if I turn on the wifi or plug in the network cable. IPV4 is turned on, IPV6 is turned off. Can't check for an update because it requires network access. Any help is appreciated.
