I need to use a Bluetooth hotspot instead of wifi to connect my printer to internet.

@Joannajg84 Use HP Smart to connect the printer to your wireless network.

  1. On your Android device, make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. Download and install HP Smart from 123.hp.com.
  3. On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds. ...
  4. On your Android mobile device, open HP Smart, and then tap the Plus sign

I don’t have wifi. I am trying to use my phones hotspot. Sorry I was unclear.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. I do not have wifi but I am trying to use my phones hotspot. Is this possible?

HP Recommended

@Joannajg84 I'm afraid a phones hotspot would not work with the printer.

I hope that helps!

Thank you! That is pretty much what I had decided. Do you know of a printer that would work on hotspot?

HP Recommended

@Joannajg84 Currently, we don't have any regular printer that would support working on a hotspot as far as I know,

I wish you good luck, ahead.
