The light never goes off even when the printer has been idle for days.  I cannot find a way to put the printer in sleep mode.

I understand you are facing a sleep mode issue with your HP ENVY Pro 6452 All-in-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Please follow the below steps to set the printer's sleep mode: Click Here to open the User Manual

 

 

 

Update the printer firmware:

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

I changed the sleep mode timing already.  My question is:  Does the ready light stay on 24/7?   On my 4520 the light would go off at the sleep mode time I set.

Thank you for your response, yes the light stays on as the printer is always on and it does not consume much power.
