I am getting a strange paper smudge down the left hand side of my print jobs so I took apart the printer to see if I could tell what the issue was, upon removing the fuser I tilted it backwards to remove it and this little spring fell from somewhere, I assume it came from the fuser, but I honestly have no idea. I didn't see where it fell from I only noticed it afterwards. Help! Where does this little booger go? It could be anywhere, I don't see anything clearly missing where it should be. Thank you in advance so much! 🙂

I do not immediately recognize that, could be a cartridge spring but with no item to show scale hard to say. I would have to look at one of the machines at the office. I do not think fuser, maybe exit assembly.

Hello Trooper! Thanks for your response, your completely right I should've included something for scale, here is another picture to give you an idea of the size. If anyone has any idea where this little spring might go I'd be deeply grateful! Thanks in advance!
