Hi @Oakumhijack,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check for Error Messages
- Check the printer's control panel for any error messages or codes that provide more information about the issue.
Check Ink Levels
- Ensure that the ink tanks have sufficient ink.
- Refill the ink tanks if they are low or empty.
Check for Paper Jams
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the access doors and check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
- Remove any jammed paper carefully without tearing it.
- Close the access doors and reconnect the power cord.
- Turn the printer back on.
Reload Paper
- Ensure the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray:
- Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size.
- Make sure the paper stack is not exceeding the maximum paper load.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Clean the Printhead
- Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant on your computer.
- Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Select Clean Printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer is connected to the internet.
- Visit the HP support website and download any available firmware updates for your printer model.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run the application to diagnose and automatically resolve any printing issues.
I hope this helps.
