The letter "p" prints an "o" on the touchscreen keypad when setting up wireless connectivity. I am not able to connect to my printer to the wifi network because I can't type the password which contains the letter "p". Is there any way to fix the keypad?

Hi @Naomid2u,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Photosmart 6525 printer's touchscreen keypad is misbehaving and displaying incorrect characters (like printing "o" instead of "p"), here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help reset any temporary glitches.
Clean the Touchscreen: Sometimes, dirt or residue can affect touchscreen performance. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild screen cleaner to gently clean the screen.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device, or by visiting the HP support website.
Reset the Printer: If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset. This will restore the printer to its original settings. Note that you'll need to set up the printer again afterward:
- Navigate to the Setup menu on the touchscreen.
- Go to Tools and select Restore Factory Defaults.
Use the HP Smart App: If you're having trouble entering the Wi-Fi password directly on the printer, you can use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app often allows for easier password entry via your mobile device.
If you have access to another device, you might want to try connecting the printer through USB to set it up initially before troubleshooting the touchscreen issue further.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
