Hi @Gurumurthy_TS ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand something may be lodged in the paper feed area of your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra 4826 printer.
Here's how you can try to safely remove the object and get the printer back in working order:
Steps to Remove the Object:
Turn Off and Unplug the Printer:
- Before you begin, make sure to turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to avoid any damage or injury.
Access the Paper Feed Area:
- Check both the rear access door (if applicable) and the paper input tray. Most HP printers have a rear door or panel that allows you to access the internal rollers and the paper path.
Remove the Rear Access Door:
- If your printer has a rear access door, open it by pressing the release tabs or sliding a latch.
- This should give you access to the roller mechanism and the area where the paper is fed. Look inside for the stuck object (stick or pen).
Manually Remove the Object:
- Gently tilt the printer to see if the object falls out or if you can spot and carefully remove it using your fingers or tweezers.
- Be cautious not to damage any of the internal components. Avoid using too much force.
Check for Any Remaining Debris:
- After removing the object, inspect the rollers and paper path to make sure nothing else is obstructing the paper feed mechanism.
Reassemble the Printer:
- Once the object has been removed, close the rear access door or panel securely.
- Reinsert the paper tray and ensure everything is properly aligned.
Test the Printer:
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Try printing a test page to ensure that the paper is feeding correctly.

I hope this helps.
