My AOL emails do not print all of the text. It randomly prints different words of the text and skips others. I have used this printer for years successfully. The HP diagnostic test found nothing wrong with the printer.

I think I should have provided more specific details. My printer has passed all diagnostic tests using the HP Doctor. My printing in MS Word or Excel is fine. It is only when I print Internet based items (for example AOL emails), that I have this problem. I attempted to print an email out of my google email and that also had the same problem. The problem occurs whether I use my desktop of my laptop. I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled using the online reinstall, which should have the most up to date software, drivers, etc. I cleaned the print heads. I am using HP ink cartridges. I still have the exact same problem. ?????????????????

Thank you for replying,
As mentioned on the link provided by the last tech: If you do not see defects on the Print Quality Diagnostic Report, the print mechanism and ink cartridges work correctly. Return to the step to check the print settings.
Check the print settings in Windows.
In the software program that you are trying to print from, click File, and then click Print. The Print dialog box opens.
Select your printer, and then click Properties. The Properties dialog box opens.
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
From the Paper Size drop-down list, select the option that matches your paper size. For example, if you have legal paper loaded in your printer, select Legal 8.5x14in.
From the Media drop-down list, select the paper type that matches the paper loaded in the printer.
Select a print quality option.
NOTE:If you want higher quality printouts, select a higher quality output setting. Selecting the Best or Maximum dpi might resolve print quality issues.
Click the Advanced button. The Advanced Options dialog box opens.
Under Printer Features, make sure that Print in Grayscale is set to Off unless you want to print in Grayscale intentionally.
Click OK, and then click OK again to apply the settings.
Click OK or Print from the Print dialog box to start the print job.
If you have already done the above steps, you may need to reset the browser or try another browser instead.
Let me know if it works fine on a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox instead.

I access my Aol email through Google Chrome. I have already made sure that the gray scale selection is off. I printed an email through my Google email and had the same problem. Maybe it is a Google Chrome issue? I may try Internet Explorer.

Thank you for the update,
Please try Internet explorer or like i mentioned earlier-firefox,
Let me know how that works,
Eager to help,

I was able to print from my wife's lap top, which uses Internet explorer. Thus, it must be a Google Chrome and HP compatability issue even though I have been using Google Chrome without incident for quite a while.

Thank you for replying,
If you haven't done this already, I would recommend resetting the Google Chrome browser to try with the windows you have installed,
(I must notify that Google Chrome may have compatibility issues with the windows manufactured by Microsoft)
The reset of Chrome should fix any issues with the same,
Keep me posted for further assistance,
