HP ENVY 4520 ALL IN ONE PRINTER
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

The HP Network Configuration Pages are printing daily without knowingly having been requested.

How do I turn this off without loosing network connectivity?

This issue has only recently occurred and I suspect it is connected with the recent upgrade??

I have not changed any settings and the printer has never previously printed any configuration pages in the 1.5 yrs it has been owned.

I wish to stop the unwanted printing of these pages which are a waste of time, ink and paper.

Thankyou

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, your printer is printing network configuration,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

Update Firmware: https://hp.care/2IC6gZK.

Delete the existing print queue and add the printer

Remove the printer queue from the list of printers, and then add it again. Doing so creates a new printing session.

  1. Make sure your Mac is connected to the Internet.

  2. In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button  to delete it.

  3. Click the Add button .

  4. Find and select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.

NOTE: If your printer does not display in the list, make sure the printer is connected, turned on, has power, and is ready to print.

  5. Click Print Using or Use.

  6. Select AirPrint.

  7. Try printing again.

If the issue persists, you could perform restore network default:

1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ).

2. Select Restore network defaults

Once completed, let's connect the printer to Wi-Fi:

  1. Turn on the printer if it is not already on.

  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon .

    The Wireless screen displays.

  3. Touch the Settings icon .

  4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the instructions on the control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Let me know how this goes,

For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers 🙂
