Hi @SALMT,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer is stuck on the loading screen, there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to try and resolve the issue:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer: Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds: This allows any residual power to dissipate.
- Plug the power cord back in: Connect the power cord back to the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn the printer back on and see if it completes the startup process.
2. Check for Hardware Issues
- Inspect for paper jams: Open all accessible panels and remove any paper that might be stuck inside.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure there are no foreign objects inside the printer.
- Examine the cartridges: Open the ink cartridge access door and make sure the cartridges are properly installed and that the cartridge door is closed securely.
3. Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Press and hold the power button: While holding the power button, plug the power cord back into the printer.
- Continue holding the power button for an additional 15 seconds after plugging in the cord.
- Release the power button and let the printer attempt to restart.
4. Update the Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer
- If the printer can reach a state where it can connect to a computer, you might be able to update the firmware.
- Download and install HP Smart from HP's official website.
- Follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware through the HP Smart app.
5. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
- If the printer menu is accessible, navigate to the Setup menu.
- Go to Printer Maintenance or Support.
- Select Restore or Reset and follow the on-screen instructions to restore factory settings.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
