I have already gone through all these steps. I purchased 2 more cartridges. Thankfully, Office Depot accepted the first 2 cartridges as returns. It's not the cartridges! HP doesn't let us speak to someone, so we are stuck in this endless loop of the same instructions over and over with no resolution. I'm not even sure I'm speaking to an actual person...I'm pretty sure you're a bot.

Come on - please stop reposting the same regurgitated rubbish and provide users with a real solution to fix this issue which is plaguing so many users. How is it that such a global business such as HP has such a major fault with printers that they cannot offer a solution too. Mind boggling.

perhaps a uses should form a class action to see if that will shake HP out of their lethargy??

I AM IN FAVOR OF PARTICIPATING IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.  If there are any lawyers out there that come across this, this seems like an easy home run, given the size of the customer base, the lameness and market cap of the company, and how easy it would be to find participants. F YOU H P.

I believe it must be a firmware error caused by a recent update. Believe hardware and cartridges are good and firmare checking for non HP cartridges is messed up.

5 instructions done. Still the error persist. 🤕

Were you able to resolve your issue?  I'm having the same issue with my Cyan cartridge.  Replaced 2X with a new cartridge.

Hi Viviane32,

I bought another printer. I couldn't spend months trying to get my other printer to work as I needed a way to print. As far as I can tell the problem has not been resolved. I'm not sure how old your printer is but if it is still under warranty then you might be able to get some help. If not, like most of us, you don't have a lot of choices. If you find a solution that actually works please let the HP Community know as we would love to see this issue resolved!
