I posted about this problem back in May 2021 (see below). This Supply System Problem recurred this week. In May, the error was resolved by installing a new cyan cartridge. Today, I installed a new cyan cartridge and it’s still showing me the same error message. I’m out of troubleshooting ideas. It shouldn’t be this inconvenient, time-consuming and costly to operate a printer that wasn’t dirt-cheap and only over a year old.

Today, 1 year and 26 days old printer (HP OfficeJet 9010) gave me a "Supply System Problem" issue. Next week is finals week, so obviously, as an instructor and a mother of two boys on remote learning with a husband completing a master's program, this issue is a huge one, to say the least.
This morning, the printer was working fine. I was prompted to replace the cyan cartridge, and I did. After replacing the cartridge, the printer displayed the "Supply System Problem." I looked up the troubleshooting tips on the hP website and followed all of them, except for one, to no avail. The only step I couldn't carry out was to replace all of the ink cartridges. I usually order a new cartridge after installing one, so I don't really have new cartridges on hand except for magenta. I also am hesitant to buy new cartridges if there is no guarantee that it would solve the problem. At this point, I would like to get an explanation of why I see this issue. I only buy ink from Walmart (not from 3rd party sellers), Staples, and Office Depot (I have receipts to prove that). I have not ever used refilled ink cartridges. I bought this 9010 printer because my old printer (8600) lasted me 8 long years (2 of those years were when I finished my masters)! I am very disappointed and frustrated. I have reached out via Messenger, sent a message to Support, and am awaiting responses. Does anybody have any troubleshooting tips to add? Has anybody else experienced this issue, and did you get it resolved? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
