Hi I have a Supply problem with the magenta color. I already bought a new and replace it, however it was in vain, because I still have the error. I already try taking out all the inks and in again and to reset the printer. To the online alignment and cleaning I can not access because it says the printer is busy. I only have 2 1/2 years with the printer please help

It sounds like you're experiencing persistent issues with your printer's magenta supply even after replacing it and attempting a reset. Here are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the Ink Cartridge and Contact Connections:

  • Make sure the magenta cartridge is properly seated in its slot. Sometimes a cartridge might not be fully inserted, leading to supply errors.
  • Inspect the electrical contacts on both the cartridge and the carriage. Ensure there is no ink residue or debris that might obstruct the connection. You can clean these contacts using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water.

Update the Printer's Firmware:

  • Check the HP website to ensure your printer has the latest firmware. An update might resolve communication issues between the printer and cartridge.

Check for Error Messages and Codes:

  • The printer might display a specific error code that could indicate the root of the problem. Refer to your printer manual or HP’s support site for guidance on any codes or messages you encounter.

Perform a Manual Cleaning of the Printhead:

  • If you cannot access the printer's online cleaning tools because it is busy, try performing a manual cleaning. Remove the printhead and use distilled water with a lint-free cloth to gently clean the nozzles.

Retry Alignment and Cleaning Processes:

  • Once manual checks and cleaning are done, try accessing the alignment and cleaning functions again when the printer is not reporting as busy.
