Hi @corona12033
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Power Connection:
- Ensure the printer is plugged into a working electrical outlet. You can test the outlet with another device to confirm it's providing power.
Inspect the Power Cord:
- Check the power cord for any visible damage or fraying. If it's damaged, you may need to replace it.
Power Reset:
- Unplug the printer from the wall outlet and wait for about 60 seconds. Then plug it back in and try turning it on.
Check for Overheating:
- If the printer feels unusually warm, let it cool down for a while before trying to turn it back on.
Look for Error Lights:
- If there are any lights or error messages on the printer, take note of them as they can provide clues about the issue.
Try a Different Outlet:
- Sometimes outlets can malfunction. Try plugging the printer into a different outlet to see if it powers on.
Inspect for Jammed Paper:
- If there’s any paper jammed inside, it might prevent the printer from turning on. Open the printer and check for any stuck paper.
Factory Reset:
- If you can access the printer’s menu and it responds, consider performing a factory reset. Consult the user manual for instructions on how to do this.
