@Tdotman, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

It is as per the design. It will be ON. It will blink if there is any information to be printed. I believe you are able to print fine with no issues.

ok, so yes, the printer continues to operate normally, however, up until now, the information light was never on, seems like "ON" would indicate a problem?? HP2652

Hi did you ever find out why it stays on? Mine recently started doing the same thing!

No, I have not located or received a reply as to why; all of the sudden the "amber" light on the panel stays on ...........

 

Working find, but irritating

I have tried to get in contact with a real hp agent, and not a virtual one, but when I click on the link that says "chat with a real agent" it wont work....I am so annoyed lol! I keep trying to get the orange light to go away and it just keeps printing out the "printer information" sheet. Everything comes out as fine and even the hp app says my printer is up to date etc. I am going insane trying to fix this issue lol. Please let me know if you find the solution!
