Welcome to HP support community.

What error message are you getting?

Meanwhile:

  1. Open the cover on the product. The carriage moves into the access area. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before continuing.

  2. Locate the yellow arrow on top of the carriage. The yellow arrow points to a Cartridge error icon. Each icon represents a specific issue.

Use the following figure to identify the cartridge issue.

  3. Figure : Cartridge error icons

    1. Tri-color Cartridge Problem icon

    2. Black Cartridge Problem icon

    3. Tri-color Cartridge Low-ink icon

    4. Black Cartridge Low-ink icon

    6. Yellow indicator arrow

  4. Once you have determined the cartridge issue, refer this HP document for the steps to resolve the issue:- Click here

I hope that helps.
