Hi @Salad30,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY 5010 All-in-One Printer is showing as "no longer available" even after uninstalling, restarting, and reprinting multiple times, here are a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
Remove and Re-add the Printer
Windows:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 5010 and click Remove device.
- Restart your PC.
- Once restarted, go back to Printers & scanners, click Add a printer or scanner, and follow the instructions to re-add the printer.
Mac:
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer, click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Restart your Mac.
- Re-add the printer by clicking the plus (+) button and selecting the printer.
Reset the Printer's Network Settings
- If your printer is connected wirelessly, resetting its network settings and reconnecting can help.
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Network Settings.
- Select Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.
Check for Driver or Software Updates
- Download and install the latest drivers for your printer from the HP Support website. This can often fix communication issues between the printer and your computer.
Disable Printer Offline Mode (Windows)
- Go to Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 5010, click Open queue.
- In the Printer menu, ensure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.
Check Default Printer
Make sure your HP ENVY 5010 is set as the default printer.
- Windows: Go to Devices > Printers & scanners and set it as default.
- Mac: Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click on the printer, and select Set as Default Printer.
Update Firmware
- Outdated firmware can cause communication errors. Go to HP Smart or the HP website to check for a firmware update.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
