Hi @qdavid,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The 'Printhead Alert' light blinking on your HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 series printer indicates an issue with the printhead. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Check for Obstructions:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the printer cover and check for any obstructions or debris around the printhead area.
  • Carefully remove any visible debris using a soft, lint-free cloth.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check if the 'Printhead Alert' light continues to blink. If it persists, move on to the next step.

Inspect the Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that all ink tanks have sufficient ink. Low ink levels can sometimes cause printhead issues.
  • If any of the ink tanks are low or empty, replace them with genuine HP ink cartridges.

Run Printhead Cleaning:

  • Many printers have a printhead cleaning utility in the settings menu. Refer to your printer's manual or documentation to find out how to run a printhead cleaning cycle. Click Here
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the printhead cleaning process.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website.
  • Download and install the latest firmware following the instructions provided by HP. Click Here

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
