I am the owner of an HP Laserjet M28a printer. For some time now, I have been unable to scan using HP software (e.g. HP Smart) that uses TWAIN. However, if I use software that uses  WIA, everything works correctly. The scan starts correctly, but then I receive the error message "The scan has been interrupted by the scanner." I have also noticed that if I scan small-sized documents (e.g. business cards), everything works correctly.

I have uninstalled all the software, reinstalled, updated drivers, but the result remains the same.
