If you attach the item close to the corner, as stated in the instructions, the scanner will crop these edges.

There are two scans. 1st upper left corner. 2nd, lower right corner

 

 

Если вы вплотную прислоните предмет к углу, как указано в инструкции, сканер обрезает эти края.

Here is another image that shows cropping at the edges. The past ones were deleted due to privacy issues.

Why doesn't HP write about this in its manual? What to hide?

@FM_-1- I'm afraid we've reached the end of the line, there's nothing else we can do to solve the issue online,

If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,

@FM_-1- I went through the product specifications page: click here to verify and I also checked the user guide: click here to check, and I did not find any such information on either of them about "Epson" on HP products. that said, as per the design you will have to adjust and place the originals on the glass, you may update the printer firmware and then try making a copy to check, and if copy works fine, you can t/s on scanning app used, which brings me to my question, which app are you using and have you tried an alternate app?

The image is located in the upper left corner of the scanner. Where there is a special pointer.

Copying, as well as scanning to a computer using any program, give the same result by trimming the edges.

 

Programs:  NAPS2 / HP Smart Tank 510 series-HP Scan Classic Microsoft Paint in Windows 10 .

 

The latest firmware version of the printer is installed:

*I found a video on Youtube with a review of this MFP model. Contacted a person and you know what? The person also has a problem with trimming the edges.

@FM_-1- It looks like you've done everything that could possibly resolve the issue, the only other thing you can do, is to contact to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

 

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

 

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

The printer was recently purchased. Service center in another city 200 km from me. I won't send it anywhere.
