not a techie!!....not even close. i see others have had problems with the same issue. i uninstalled this (or thought i did) but continue to get "There was a problem starting C:\\Program Files\\HP\\HP Photosmart 5510 series\\bin\\HPStatusBL.dll" and i see i am not the only one. i see "frankus" had the most positive results.... problem is i am not comfortable unless there is step by step! seems there is always something that comes up when dealing with this black hole that never got covered and then i get stuck!! someone else mentioned the reason for getting the message because the dll, itself, has been removed but not the service that tries to load it at startup (and now it can't find the missing module). everyone makes it look so easy...anyone willing to help with screen shots !!?? i sure would appreciate any help anyone is willing to give.
please and thank you !!
fyi...i replaced my HP5510 with HP officejet 4650

Hi,
From File Exploer type %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup into the address bar and press Enter.
Delete the Monitor Ink Alerts shortcut of the 5510 printer and the error should no longer appear.
