I replaced the HP 952XL Black Cartridge with another 952XL HP cartridge.  I now get the error message

This Printer is Not Designed to Use Continuous Ink Systems'

I re-inserted the cartridge I removed and still get this error.

I have updated the driver, turned the printer on/off, unplugged it and restarted it.  I still get the error and the printer is unusable.

A little frustrating spending >$100 for HP cartridges, using them in an HP printer and then get an error message that refers to Continuous Ink System that I am not even using.  So I now have expensive cartridges and no printer to use them in.

Anyone else have this and any suggestions on how to resolve?

Hi.  Many thanks for the reply and references.  I followed the instructions but they didnt work so I submitted a warranty claim and after performing more diagnostics will be sent a replacement print head.

I appreciate your quick response and pointing me in the direction that got a resolution.
