HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

Yes I'm on a Mac desktop OS Ventura 13.2.1.  At the time I was just making some copies of some documents. I was using both sides of the paper and when the page stopped to go to the other side it never was pulled back in. I had to pull it out manually. After which an error message came up statingPrinthead problem: 0xc19a0015. Also on the bottom of the screen it says hide.

Hi @JMULL88,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error message "There is a problem with the printhead. 0xc19a0015" typically appears on HP printer models and indicates an issue with the printhead or the ink system.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for 60 seconds. Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and check if the error message has disappeared.
  • Check the ink cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Try replacing any empty or low ink cartridges and check if the error message has disappeared.
  • Clean the printhead: Use the printer's built-in cleaning function to clean the printhead. Consult your printer's manual or online support resources for instructions on how to clean the printhead.
  • Reset the printer: Resetting the printer to its default settings can sometimes resolve this issue. Consult your printer's manual or online support resources for instructions on how to reset your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
