Hi there, HP community, we are having an issue with an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn printer.
Every time a toner cartridge is replaced in the printer, after about only 100 pages or less, it complains that it is out of ink/toner.
The client had previously purchased non-genuine cartridges, but have since switched to genuine cartridges and the issue is still occurring. I'm trying to research and don't see how or if it is even possible to reset the page count on the printer, unless a factory reset needs to be done to do that.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Do you know what percentage the toner supply is showing? Perhaps the low warning has been set to the wrong level.
NOTE:When a 'Black Cartridge is Very Low' displays on the HP LaserJet Ultra MFP M134fn printer, the printer completes the current print job, and then stops printing. You must replace the toner cartridge to continue printing.Once the HP toner cartridge reaches Very Low, the HP Premium Protection Warranty ends.
- Press the right arrow button
- Press the right arrow button
- When Black Cartridge displays, press OK.
- Press the right arrow button
- Use the Right and Left Arrow buttons
NOTE:
HP recommends that you set the toner percentage to at least 8%. A lower percentage could reduce print quality. - Try to print the job again.
NOTE:Once the HP print cartridge reaches Very Low, the HP Premium Protection Warranty ends.
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe left, and then touch Setup.
- Touch System Setup.
- Touch Supply Settings, and then touch Black Cartridge.
- Touch Low Threshold.
- Using the numeric keypad, type the percentage of toner that you want to remain in the toner cartridge when the 'Toner Low' message displays again.
NOTE:
HP recommends that you set the toner percentage to at least 8%. A lower percentage could reduce print quality. - Try to print the job again.
