I have changed the black toner (117A) and I am still getting a "Toner very low" message on the display and the HP Smart app is also telling me that the toner is empty.  I have tried removing and refitting the toner cartridge several times, and also tried reinstalling the software for the printer., but I am still getting the same massage.

 

Can anyone help me resolve the issue please. It is very frustrating having to press continue after every page is printed to be able to print the next page.

If you insert your old toner, do you still see the error message?

 

Let us know.

Yes if the old toner is inserted I still have the same error message.  Also Hp smart app shows the toner is empty too.

Hi

Refiling cartridge will not help as you need to change chip as well. Bay cartridge and it will work fine.

The toner has been replaced not refilled, so the chip has been changed too. 

 

The new cartridge is a genuine HP cartridge.

i have the same problem too after replacing with HP black toner 130A.  it won't reset and still show low toner.  How do i reset it?
