3201dw

I have a paper jam error and can't get to the paper to pull it out.  Other posts say that I need to remove the fuser but I can't find the instructions.  Does anyone have a link to the 3201dw repair manual?

Hi @AStuf,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Turn off the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to ensure safety while handling internal components.

Open Access Doors:

  • Open the top cover or any other access doors to reach the internal parts where the paper jam might be located.

Remove Fuser Unit:

  • If you need to access paper stuck in the fuser, you may need to remove the fuser unit.
  • Typically, there are clips or screws holding the fuser unit in place. Consult your printer’s user guide for specific instructions on removing the fuser.

Clear Paper Jam:

  • Gently pull the jammed paper out of the fuser and any other internal components. If the paper tears, ensure you remove all small pieces.

Reinstall Fuser:

  • Once the paper is removed, reinsert the fuser unit back into its original position.

Restart the Printer:

  • Power on the printer again and check if the error message is cleared and the printer resumes normal operation.

I hope this helps.

This product is nearly identical to the 4201 series product so the repair guide for that model should help you out. https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_9452560_en-US-1.pdf
