Can I print transparancys on the Deskjet Pro 8720?

I do not see a selection for them.

Transparencies are not listed as a supported paper type for this printer model, but that doesn't mean it can't print on them.

You need to get special transparencies for printing on inkjet printers, and in print, driver select photo or glossy paper.

For printing on inkjet printers, you need to load special transparencies for inkjet printers, that have a special finish and white strip. Printing on transparencies for laser printer will not be possible, because laser printers use different techniques for creating an image and in laser printers, there are no optical sensors for detecting the paper edge. That's is why inkjet transparencies have a white strip that is removed after printing. The white strip is used to reflect light for inkjets line sensor while detecting a paper edge.
